Our Service Projects

Prattville Rotary turns community support into practical help. Funds raised through club events and sponsorships support students, nonprofit organizations, civic projects, and Rotary programs that address needs locally and around the world.

Education

The club awards college scholarships in honor of founding members Horace Powell and Frank Lamar. These scholarships recognize local high school seniors who demonstrate thoughtfulness, leadership potential, and a commitment to their community.

Community Grants

Our annual Community Grant Program helps qualifying nonprofit organizations fund projects that directly benefit people in Prattville and Autauga County. Each grant cycle includes published eligibility rules, application dates, and an online application.

Youth Leadership

Prattville Rotary sponsors eligible high school students for Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, a leadership development program focused on service, citizenship, communication, and personal growth.

Hands-On Service

Members volunteer with community organizations and civic initiatives. Past support has included Habitat for Humanity, the Family Support Center, the Miracle Field Project, the Autauga County Humane Society, Peers Are Staying Straight, and other local causes.

Rotary Beyond Our Community

The club also supports the Rotary Foundation and Rotary International programs. This includes the worldwide effort to end polio and work related to clean water, health, education, and economic opportunity.
